CDC Conducts Calypso Workshops

Calypso WorkshopsAntigua St. John's - The Carnival Development Committee (CDC) will be conducting a series of calypso adjudicators workshops.

This series is open to anyone who wants to become a calypso competition adjudicator.

Workshops will be conducted over a six-weekend period, from Saturday June 15, to Saturday, July 20. These sessions will be conducted at the Ministry of Tourism conference room from 9 am to 1 pm.

The facilitators are:

   Saturday June 15       Junior “Jagar” Martin and D Giselle Isaac
   Saturday June 22      Ambassador Mamba Liverpool
   Saturday June 29       Dorbrene O'Marde
   Saturday July 07        Eric “Pink Panther” Taylor
   Saturday July 13        King Franki Francis
   Saturday July 20        Dr Ekua Richard

Registration can be done at the National Festivals Office on the 1st floor of the Pigotts’ Mall on Market and Redcliffe Streets. Application forms will only be available during office hours, Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and on Fridays from 8 am to 3 pm.
