Antigua St john's - On Saturday June 2, Island Academy will present an evening of great music featuring the world renowned saxophonist Arturo Tappin.
Tappin will be performing his only Antiguan show this year with his six-piece band.
Following a sell-out show at Russell's last year, Arturo is again looking forward to wooing the Antiguan audience with his unique blend of modern classics and jazz.
The concert takes place at Sugar Ridge Resort from 7:30 pm.
Also on the bill will be DJ Charlie, the Island Academy school band, steele pan maestro Lacu Samuel and Kuttin Edge, and local favourites Itchyfeet, featuring original material from Asher Otto.
Tickets are priced at $150 VIP, which includes food and complimentary drinks, and $50 general admission, available at The Larder, Extreme Fitness, or Sugar Ridge.
All proceeds will go toward the Island Academy bursary fund, which currently helps over 75 students receive a world-class education.
