Soca Therapy ContinuesAntigua St John's - The second of four events on the "Soca Therapy" calendar has officially been launched by The Marketing Machine/The Source coalition.

Lots of Liquor (LOL) – The Cooler Fete, is set to mark its second year of succession on Saturday June 30 at Splash Antigua, and the promoters have promised an event beyond all expectations.

LOL was introduced in 2011, and will this year feature “the very best” of Antiguan entertainment, coupled with artists from Barbados and Dominica.

The lineup includes Claudette "CP" Peters and the Taxic Band, Tanzania "Tizzy" Sabastian and El-a-Kru, Jashan and the Chesekake Factory, Ricardo Dru and the Burning Flames. Dominica’s Benji ‘The Sous Man’ and Barbados’ Lil' Rick.

“We are extremely proud this evening to announce that ‘LOL’ this year will feature some of the hypest entertainers in the business. Our patrons can look forward to a blast of entertainment,” said The Marketing Machine’s Chalita Rose.

This year’s sponsors include Digicel, Carib Beer, Hennessy, El Dorado Rum, Quinn Farrara, and Vybz FM.

This year’s Soca Therapy opens with Girl Power on June 2, continues with LOL on June 30, and rolls into Red Eye on July 21 and ICE on August 3. The therapy session wraps up on August 12 with the anticipated SKIN on Sand Piper Beach.

Tuesday’s launch took place before the local press, artistes, the CDC, and Minister of Culture Elston "Namba" Adams.
