Churches Receive Independence Offering

Pastor SamuelAntigua St John's - The offering collected at the recently held national Independence 30th anniversary service will be shared between the New Bethel Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Amazing Grace Foundation.

On Friday, November 4, committee chairperson Valerie Gonsalves-Barreiro made the presentation to Pastor Mark Braithwaite of the New Bethel SDA Church, and Pastor Stephen Samuel, a member of the board of the Amazing Grace Foundation.

In presenting the money, Gonsalves-Barreiro  thanked Pastor Braithwaite for the use of their sanctuary and also expressed the appreciation of the members of the congregation.

She said she trusted that the monies received would assist their ongoing community service projects.

Pastor Samuel meanwhile said the Foundation is always happy for any contribution to its work.

Both pastors were pleased that the committee had made this decision, and wished them continued blessings.
